The Company
You will be joining a reputable hire company who work with various industries throughout the UK, supplying a range of market leading plant equipment. Due to their ongoing success, they are seeking a workshop engineer to join their team at one of their prestigious depots.
Responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer include:
* Working in a busy workshop, maintaining and servicing plant machinery such as diggers, rollers, excavators, and dumpers.
* Ensuring all equipment is safe and ready to go back out for hire.
* Carrying out tasks in compliance with health and safety procedures.
* Working within an engineering team as well as independently.
Minimum Requirements:
It would be ideal that you have previously worked in positions such as Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Workshop Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician. You will ideally hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or similar. Experience with manufacturers such as JCB, Bomag, Volvo, Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT or similar is preferred.
