Then this could be your opportunity to join our catering team at Birmingham’s epicentre of events working for the NEC Group across the Utilita Arena Birmingham and BP Pulse Live.
We are looking for a Food and Beverage Logistics Shift Lead to joing our team.
What you will be doing:
1. To check quantity and quality of goods delivered by external and internal suppliers.
2. To ensure that all storage locations are kept clean and tidy at all times.
3. To place and input invoices onto the system accurately and in within the company’s established timelines.
4. Ensure stock is held within agreed time limits.
5. To liaise with line manager regarding stock levels and ad-hoc requirements.
6. To carry out accurate stocktake and escalate any issue to the managment team.
7. To comply with hygiene, Health and Safety regulations
8. Ensure that all duties are carried out as per company procedures.
9. Ensure high level of customer service and act as ambassador for the company.
10. Ensure all cellars, retail outlets and premium lounges have corrected par-stock levels ready for each event.
11. Lead and manage a retail area, taking responsibility for a group of colleagues on live events, working together as a team is paramount where we have fun in an exciting fast paced environment.
What you will need:
12. To be able to respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity.
13. To effectively communicate company standards to your team and monitor adherence to these standards
14. Computer literate
15. Good knowledge of inventory management including par-stocks & stock rotation
16. Able to work weekends and evenings to suit the needs of the business.
17. To have a reasonable level of fitness, stamina, and strength
Whilst not essential the following is also favourable:
18. Food Safety Level 2 certificated
19. Forklift Truck certificate
