£13.50 - £16 per hour day rate
£14.50 - £18 per hour night rate

We are looking to rapidly grow our teams in Bangor and surrounding areas, and have clients who are eager to speak with candidates who have worked in any of the settings listed.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervision: Provide vigilant and compassionate care and supervision to individuals in a variety of care settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of all individuals through regular checks and proactive risk management.
* Support and Guidance: Offer emotional support and practical guidance to individuals who may experience distress or difficulties.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, healthcare professionals, therapists, and educators.
* Training Participation: Engage in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in caring for a variety of complex needs.

Requirements
* Experience: Previous experience supporting individuals with one or more of the following: mental health challenges, dementia/elderly care, learning difficulties, complex care needs, or children's residential care.
* Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle is required.
* Registration: Must be registered or willing to register with Social Care Wales.
* DBS Check: Must have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Skills and Attributes
* Empathy and Understanding: A deep understanding of the complex needs of individuals, whether they are facing mental health challenges, cognitive impairments, or require complex care.
* Industry Knowledge: Well-versed in safeguarding regulations, risk assessments, de-escalation techniques, and the best practices associated with support work.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Calm and Composed: Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, providing reliable care and support.
* Proactive Approach: A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality care.
