Responsibilities
As a Graduate Materials Engineering Consultant, you will:
1. Investigate materials-related issues, focusing on how materials impact product or asset performance and reliability.
2. Perform hands-on testing and analysis using state-of-the-art techniques like FTIR, GC, and ion chromatography.
3. Evaluate materials for new applications and ensure compliance with specifications and legislative standards.
4. Contribute to technical proposals, client meetings, and deliver high-quality reports.
5. Collaborate with senior consultants, learning industry-leading techniques and practices.
About You
We're looking for passionate, inquisitive problem-solvers with:
1. A minimum 2:1 degree in Materials Engineering or a related STEM field (MEng, MSc, or PhD preferred).
2. A hands-on approach and demonstrable practical ability.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. A team-oriented mindset with a client-focused approach.
5. A full UK driving licence (or commitment to obtain one).
