The Role
As Reception Manager, you'll lead the reception team, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience from booking to arrival. You will oversee all aspects of guest reservations, front desk operations, and team management, ensuring smooth, efficient, and welcoming service. Acting as a key liaison between the venue and our external reservations partner, you will optimise bookings, uphold our high standards, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the reception team to deliver exceptional, personalised service to every guest
* Be the first point of contact for VIPs, high-profile reservations, and special requests
* Foster a culture of hospitality and professionalism within the team, ensuring guests consistently receive high levels of service
* Maximise bookings by coordinating with the external reservation partners and ensuring smooth guest flow
* Collaborate with the Event Sales Manager to coordinate group reservations, private dining experiences, and special events
* Oversee training and development of the reception team, ensuring high performance and continuous growth
* Handle guest feedback and resolve issues effectively to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
About You
* Proven experience as a Reception Manager within luxury hospitality, preferably multi-site experience
* Natural leader with strong coaching skills and the ability to inspire your team
* Expertise in reservations systems and managing guest bookings
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional, engaging approach to guest service
* Strong organisational abilities, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* A passion for delivering luxury service and building lasting relationships with guests, team members, and partners
