Purpose of the role
Heidelberg Materials are looking for an enthusiastic Category C (Class 2) Full-Time Relief HGV Driver to join our team. Whether you're newly qualified or have years of experience, we want to hear from you. Key accountabilities
1. Provide driver holiday and sickness cover in the Hampshire, Oxford, Wiltshire region.
2. Ensure that Heidelberg Materials products are delivered to customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner while upholding professional standards.
3. Manage distribution operations to meet customer requirements and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
4. Maintain the vehicle and all equipment in a clean condition and ensure vehicle records are correctly maintained.
5. Comply with company personnel and administration policies and procedures.
6. Follow all Health and Safety, Working Time Directive, and Road Transport regulatory requirements.
7. Ensure waste disposals, water discharges, and dust emissions are handled according to Environmental procedures.
8. Perform deliveries in a cost-effective, efficient, and courteous manner.
9. Perform any other relevant duties as requested by Management.
Education/Qualification
* Category C (Class 2) Licence
* Driver CPC Qualification
* Driver Card
