The role We are looking for a friendly and energetic individual to join our dedicated team of caretakers. This is a part time role, working Monday to Wednesday, so would be ideal for someone looking for flexibility, or those with other commitments later in the week. As a team of three, you will look after our properties across the Trowbridge and Melksham area, keeping them clean, safe and free from refuse or hazards. Excellent customer service is at the heart of this role, as you will regularly be interacting with our residents as you work in and around their homes. This is a physical job, with a fair amount of manual lifting and carrying, so would be ideal for someone looking for an active role, who enjoys being on their feet. Day to day you will be cleaning and maintaining communal areas, managing bin store areas, addressing community issues such as fly-tipping, and prepping properties before tenants move in. As a Caretaker you will also be responsible for managing supplies and carrying out minor repairs and improvements to properties. Our Caretakers play a hugely important role within Selwood, keeping our neighbourhoods vibrant and welcoming.
