Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain System Verilog - UVM testbenches and take ownership of complex verification tasks.
* Lead the development of new SV UVM verification components and ensure the testbench quality and performance.
* Debug failing test cases and provide solutions to root causes.
* Define and write functional coverage models to meet project targets.
* Contribute to verification strategies and architecture, ensuring that test benches meet sign-off targets (coverage, functional safety, and test bench qualification).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing valuable input during design and concept meetings.
* Ensure efficiency and risk mitigation within verification activities by taking a proactive approach.
Ideal Candidate:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field (or equivalent).
* Experience: At least 10 years of experience in hardware verification, preferably at the IP level, with extensive knowledge of System Verilog - UVM.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of UVM, System Verilog Assertions (SVAs), and verification tools.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Able to debug complex issues and work towards efficient verification solutions.
* Tools Experience: Familiarity with EDA tools, PC Lint, and version control systems such as Git or SVN.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively explain technical issues and progress.
* A safety-first mindset with a keen attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of functional safety and its verification.
* Experience with scripting languages to enhance verification efficiency.
