Interim Student Personal Development Manager
Role Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and implement the personal development programme for students, adult learners, and apprentices, which includes developing materials for tutors, promoting student voice programmes, and organising enrichment activities and events that align with national and local priorities.
In this role, you will manage teams responsible for student personal development, pastoral support, enrichment, and learning resources, ensuring the provision of an outstanding service that supports student progression and successful post-education outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, development, and delivery of a comprehensive personal development calendar, ensuring activities and topics are in line with the personal development curriculum and meet Ofsted standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain tutorial resources (TMail) for various learner levels, working closely with the curriculum and quality teams.
Deliver training and coaching for tutors on personal development topics and teaching strategies to enhance delivery.
Oversee and manage the planning and delivery of Freshers’ Fairs, enterprise competitions, and other cross-college events.
Ensure that adequate resources are available for student induction programmes to create an excellent student experience.
