Job Description Architectural Technologist in Berkshire? I am working with a well-established firm in the Slough area who are looking for a Architectural Technologist (can be senior) to join their team. They work on a variety of projects, but are mainly focusing on residential and mixed-use schemes at the moment. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the project technical lead, managing technical aspects from inception to completion. Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and suppliers. Provide technical input for feasibility studies and strategy documents. Prepare tender information, including service layouts, schematics, and specifications. Develop detailed designs and construction details in compliance with current building regulations and industry best practices. Clearly communicate design solutions with the project team and client representatives. Attend meetings, take and issue minutes, and manage project documentation. Coordinate design elements with consultants, specialist contractors, and suppliers. Experience and Qualifications: Degree in Architectural Technology. ACIAT/MCIAT qualification or equivalent UK experience in an architectural/technical practice. Strong proficiency in Revit. Site experience and a strong understanding of construction processes. Commitment to high performance, continuous learning, and professional development. Strong technical design and detailing abilities. In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies. Salary will be based on experience and ability but is expected to be between £35,000 - £45,000.
