Zebra Professional Services team has a great new opportunity for Systems Integration Engineer to join our diverse international team. This role will involve travel to customer sites across the UK as well as required attendance at our Bourne End office, and opportunity to work from home.
In this exciting role with Zebra Professional Services, you will be responsible for supporting field engineers on a large scale project involving our RFID, Android products for our major retail customer.
This is a UK based role for 6 months with potential prolongation.
Responsibilities:
* Completing all phases of systems integration design projects.
* Delivering and implementing our solution and services within the project scope and deliverables.
* Supporting, identifying and raising Change requests.
* Analyzing best approach to solving systems, applications, or process design problems (innovation vs. re-use) including best fit solution to customer requirements.
* Documenting and presenting to clients on technical solutions/designs.
* Providing support to Field Engineers working on device integration on customer site, dealing with escalations.
* Creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of engineering experience, or engineering educational background.
* Knowledge of MDM, Android devices.
* Basic software development and networking knowledge.
* Knowledge of RFID is a plus.
* Field engineering experience from a client-facing role is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with external clients.
* Ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision.
* Ability to travel across the UK and work night shifts.
Advantages:
