Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Bacup, Lancashire
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students across various subjects within the national curriculum.
2. Provide individualised support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
3. Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
4. Contribute to the planning, preparation, and assessment of lessons and activities, under the guidance of the class teacher.
5. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
6. A relevant qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
7. Previous experience working in a school environment and familiarity with the national curriculum.
8. Experience supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs is highly desirable.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
11. Dedication to the welfare and educational development of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
