IT Service Desk Manager
Potters Bar / North London
Up to £50,000 + Excellent Prospects
Cerulean, a leading MSP based in Potters Bar, is seeking an IT Service Desk Manager to join their expanding business. The role is office-based and located in Potters Bar on the Hertfordshire / North London borders. A salary of up to £50,000 is available based on experience.
The hours are 9:15 to 5:15pm and we are ideally looking for candidates who are based within 30 minutes of the office in Potters Bar as the role will be office-based.
ROLE DETAILS
Your role as an IT Service Desk Manager will see you manage a team of six within the network solutions team and also act as the escalation point for all client queries, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
Duties will include:
* Managing team workloads by ensuring accurate ticket allocation
* Monitoring ticket performance and SLA targets
* Producing statistics from various aspects to substantiate that targets are achieved (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) as agreed with management.
* Providing support and assistance to other members of the team to aid their understanding to support the technology and deal with tickets in a timely manner.
* Assisting the team's ongoing learning and development.
* Developing and implementing strategies and ideas for ongoing service improvement.

You will join a well-established MSP that was established over 20 years ago. Cerulean has built its reputation on trust, quality, and honesty and provides IT Support for a wide range of businesses. They are a team of eleven, many of whom have been with the company for over ten years – they have a fantastic culture.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
You will have the majority of the following experience:
- Experience of leading and mentoring small teams within IT Support, Service Desk or Helpdesk
- It would be highly desirable to have a background within an MSP environment.
- An IT Support background which will include knowledge of Office 365, Azure and Exchange.
- Knowledge of Autotask, ConnectWise or Halo would be desirable.
- It would be desirable to be ITIL certified.
SALARY:
Range of £45,000 to £50,000 (dependent on experience)
