As one of two posts, you will work on our strategy, policy and regulatory preparation and development, irrespective of tenure, ensuring that residents are considered and taken into account. This involves monitoring the local housing market, addressing affordability, need, and standards, and contributing to new initiatives to improve housing services. You'll support the Council's strategic role, working with Registered Providers, Developers, landlords, and other agencies. You'll also assist in policy development, ensuring compliance with Regulator of Social Housing standards and readiness for inspections.
We're seeking an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in customer service and client relations, knowledge of the housing sector, and a drive to improve services. You should have up-to-date knowledge of housing, relevant regulations, and best practices, with strong skills in analysis, project management, business process transformation, and meeting deadlines. Excellent influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
