Are you ready to take your conveyancing career to the next level? As a Conveyancer working in our office in Teesside, you'll manage a portfolio of new build transactions, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and care. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of Legal Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Transactions: Handle a case load of new build transactions from start to finish.
* Client Interaction: Provide advice and assistance to clients and third parties via phone, written correspondence, and face-to-face meetings.
* Communication: Keep clients and third parties informed throughout the conveyancing process.
* System Updates: Maintain real-time updates on the case management system and third-party websites, and send weekly updates to developers.
* Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with referrers to ensure a steady flow of work.
* Service Excellence: Strive for 5-star feedback by delivering top-notch service to clients and business introducers.
* Documentation: Prepare necessary documentation for the conveyancing process.
* Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Legal Assistants.
* Completion Preparation: Ensure smooth operations on the day of completion.
* Compliance: Adhere to all PLS policies and procedures to avoid breaches.
* Performance Monitoring: Use available MI to take necessary actions.
* Support: Assist your team and other teams as needed.
Essential Skills:
* Experience: Experienced in managing your own New Build case load.
* Administrative Skills: Strong skills gained in an office environment.
* Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail.
* Communication: Good telephone manner and confident in building business relationships.
* Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with case management systems.
* Organised: Highly organised and able to manage a small team effectively.
