Backed by Swire, Argent Energy is a leading European waste-based biodiesel producer with a vision to help decarbonise transport worldwide. We believe in using waste materials only and continuously search for new waste to be turned into higher value products. We invest in people and their development as well as R&D to drive innovation in products, technologies and operational excellence. We have sites in England and Amsterdam.
Joining a team of Production, Projects, Safety, and Maintenance specialists who are responsible for running the plant 24/7, the Graduate Engineer will support, develop and implement multi-disciplinary projects for our Stanlow site. They will share learning with Argent’s Biodiesel Plant in Amsterdam and there will be opportunities to visit.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your engineering skills and work towards Chartership, whilst also gaining experience with other parts of the business. As part of our 2-year Graduate Programme, and to guarantee early career growth & development, we ensure that the Graduate will be supported by experienced engineers, will gain experience in the field, and will take on real responsibility for meaningful projects. This will allow a steep learning curve to get a deep understanding of the biofuel industry whilst being accountable for delivering results.
You’ll be in the middle of the action from day 1, working on important projects for our site. The Argent team around you will be supportive and help you to reach your goals. Your development as an Engineer is important to us. The plant processes a variety of feedstocks. The plant typically has two shutdowns a year for maintenance.
