We are now looking for a Transport Clerk to join our team at our Erith site (DA14 4AF) on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The shift times are 06:00-14:30 but may vary based on business needs, so there is a need for flexibility.

The Role
As a Transport Clerk, you will provide vital administrative support to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery services are provided at our Erith site.
Ensuring customer needs are met, you will supervise drivers, manage telematics systems and work to minimise driver infringements through education and adherence to working time regulations.
You will also act as the key contact for customer order requests, ensuring any delivery issues are quickly communicated and resolved while maintaining effective relationships.
Additionally, you will:
- Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency and customer service
- Comply with health and safety procedures and report any discrepancies
- Address and escalate concerns promptly to ensure smooth operations
About You
To be considered as a Transport Clerk, you will need:
- Experience of supervising drivers
- A good understanding of Working Time Regulations (WTR)
- A good understanding of Telematics systems within a Transport environment
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
