We are a community mutual housing association which is owned by our tenants, rooted in our local communities, working in collaboration and partnership with our stakeholders.
We provide homes to 25,000 people in Rhondda Cynon Taff and Cardiff Bay. Our primary role is delivering homes which are safe, secure and affordable to people who are in most need. However, we are more than a landlord. We are a tenant-owned, locally anchored and collaborative organisation. Our role in community development, community regeneration and individual wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.
We employ over 400 staff who work across our neighbourhoods, repairs, safety compliance, customer service, development and corporate teams. Everyone at Trivallis works to put the needs of our tenants first, build good relationships and provide a great service.
We are entering an exciting phase of our organisational journey. We have our new Corporate Plan and strategic framework in place. Our next step is to develop a Digital and Data strategy that will guide the organisation through the next few years, allowing us to innovate with emerging technologies whilst ensuring our technology and data governance arrangements are first class. As our subject matter expert, you will have a key role to play in developing our thinking and ambitions in this key area.

About you…
The successful candidate will:
* Experience of managing an IT, Data and / or Business Improvement teams to meet stakeholder need and deliver an excellent customer experience.
* Have demonstrable experience of leadership and vision in managing major IT projects or initiatives.
* Extensive experience of data interpretation and application to measuring outcomes.
* Have significant experience of working in a senior management team.
* Have the desire to deliver a fantastic customer experience at the heart of their purpose.
* Have effective strategic planning with the ability to ensure that strategies and plans contribute to the delivery of the vision and purpose of the organisation. You will be an experienced strategic leader.
* Experience of delivering a strategy using emerging technology, demonstrating awareness of how these could benefit Trivallis.
* Experience of overseeing business improvement functions and experience of a relevant methodology to capture and implement efficiency and new ways of working.
* Be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Have excellent numeracy, literary and analytical skills.
* Have persuasive evidenced based report writing skills.
* Ideally you will have experience of working in Social Housing.
* Be a car owner with full driving licence.

* Ensure robust financial management across all areas of the business.
* Support and promote a culture of empowerment to improve service delivery and the employee experience.
* Work with the Executive and other directors to deliver the corporate and business objectives.
* Assist the Executive leadership team to develop a performance culture.
* Live the values of the organisation.
What you’ll be responsible for…
* Lead the Technology, Data and Business Improvement teams and ensure the delivery of a high quality, customer focused service.
* Be the strategic lead for development and implementation and evaluation of an innovative Digital and Data strategy.
* Be the organisations subject matter expert on issues relating to technology, data, insight and business improvement.
* Ensure Trivallis has an effective technological platform to operate from which is fit for purpose and regularly reviewed.
* Evaluate and advise on emerging technologies and trends that will benefit Trivallis and its customers.
* Ensure that staff are equipped with the IT equipment and skills required to deliver an excellent service to our customers.
* Manage partner relationships with external suppliers to deliver mutually beneficial business relationships that will be sustainable for the longer term.
* Determine the long-term investment requirement for IT and develop annual budget requirements and long-term business plans to deliver the necessary investment.
* Lead on the digitisation and continuous improvement of all services to deliver an enhanced customer experience.
* Ensure the organisation has an effective IT disaster recovery plan in place which is regularly tested.
* Lead, manage, motivate and develop the IT, Data and Digital and Business Improvement team to deliver an efficient, effective, customer focused service.
* Develop and maintain effective cyber security arrangements to ensure Trivallis and its assets remain secure and consistent with industry regulations.
* Lead on the development of a performance framework that supports delivery of the Vision and supports the embedding of an organisation wide performance culture.
