Reporting to the Plant Quality Engineering Manager, End of Line engineers manage, update, and validate the test programs that are provided by the central organisation to perform electrical testing of the vehicles at the end of the production process to ensure vehicles are built to correct hardware/software configurations.
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07.00 - 15:50. Friday, 07.00 - 11.00.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Working in an established and experienced team, End of Line engineers manage, update, and validate the test programs that are provided by the central organisation to perform electrical testing of the vehicles at the end of the production process. They also complete deep dive analysis of test results to identify root causes of test failures and support the end of line test operators and repair teams in understanding electrical failures on vehicles and identifying fixes and workarounds.

Your training plan
In-house training plus the candidate will follow a Level 4 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West. If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subject.
