Job summary Specialist Hepatology and Liver Transplant Band 7 Dietitian 37.5hours per week. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to joinour dynamic multi-professional therapy team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. We are a large Tertiary Liver Transplant center providing specialist care to Hepatology and Liver Transplant patients, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The post gives a unique opportunity to work in an expanding service, and a chance to be involved in service development. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will have ownership of the Liver Transplant Clinic, working alongside the Consultant and Physiotherapist. They will also be involved in patient care on the hepatology ward and will see work up assessments for possible transplant patients. The post holder will thrive when working closely as part of a team and be ready to further develop their skills in people management and quality improvement. In line with other professional groups, the dietetic team undertakes training of dietetic students for all placement types. There will also be opportunities to be involved in teaching for all members of the MDT including the medical team.
