An exciting career development opportunity has arisen, for an experienced paediatric nurse to join the multi-disciplinary team supporting children, young people and their families with allergies and allergic conditions.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated person with excellent communication skills. You should be able to prioritise workload and provide high standards of nursing care in a variety of settings, with the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of the Allergy Team. The role will be fully supported by a multi-disciplinary Allergy team and Team Leader.
The post will cover all aspects of allergic disease and is based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital but covers other areas in NHS Grampian including Orkney and Shetland. The post holder will assist in developing and delivering training to parents and professionals as well as the children themselves and work in partnership with other agencies.
Paediatric nursing experience is essential. Experience in childhood allergy and an interest in the speciality is essential.
