This role is all about turning event enquiries into magical memories across our four award-winning Brighton restaurants: The Salt Room, The Coal Shed, Burnt Orange, and Tutto. Whether it's an intimate anniversary dinner or a big corporate bash, you'll be the warm and wonderful first point of contact, helping guests plan their perfect experience. You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive central Events Team, working closely with restaurant GMs, Head Chefs, and our Senior Events Manager to bring it all to life. Oh, and did we mention you'll be managing some of Brighton's most beautiful private dining spaces? ? What You'll Be Doing: Event Enquiries & Sales Be the friendly face (and voice) behind incoming event enquiries-via phone, email, and our online platforms. Manage the full event journey: respond quickly, send beautiful proposals, follow up like a pro, and lock in those bookings Work across several private and semi-private event spaces, making sure every detail is just right. Use our trusty platforms (Tripleseat & SevenRooms) to track leads, update bookings, and stay on top of your game. Smash monthly event conversion targets-and celebrate your wins with the team ? Guest Experience & Relationship Building Build relationships with clients from the very first email to the final bite of dessert. Understand their vision, make helpful suggestions, and ensure they feel looked after every step of the way. Where possible, greet your event bookers on the day and make sure everything runs like clockwork. Become a brand ambassador who's just as passionate about hospitality as you are about a perfectly organised spreadsheet. ? Admin, Systems & Communication Own the admin - but make it fabulous. Input leads, draft proposals, create function sheets, and keep everything squeaky clean in Tripleseat & SevenRooms. Keep restaurant teams in the loop with timely updates and clear communication. Work closely with General Managers, Head Chefs, and Front of House teams to make sure every event is delivered with style, flair, and a touch of Black Rock Restaurants magic. ? Reporting & Team Support Report regularly to our Senior Events Manager with updates, wins, and (if needed) any hurdles. Share insights with the wider events team and help us continuously improve the guest journey. Pitch in with ideas, support team initiatives, and help keep our events team culture positive, playful, and people-first. ? We're Looking For Someone Who: Has 1-2 years' experience in events, sales, or hospitality-ideally in a busy, guest-facing role. LOVES organisation and is a natural when it comes to juggling tasks, people, and priorities. Is confident, warm, and an excellent communicator-both in writing and in person. Gets a buzz from hitting targets, helping people, and being part of a team. Is comfortable with booking systems (Tripleseat, SevenRooms, ResDiary or similar-it's okay if you need to learn).
