Health, Safety and Environment Manager
Willmott Dixon is seeking a SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) Manager to join our central SHE team. The role involves supporting our London and East region, including Bedfordshire, Northants, and Milton Keynes projects. The position is primarily site-based across various project sites, with flexibility for some remote work. The main office is located in Hitchin.
The ideal candidate will monitor, advise, support, enforce, and report on health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
The Project
The SHE Manager's main responsibility is to ensure our sites adhere to current legislation and group policies, communicating these effectively. You will seek innovative ways to improve health, safety, and environmental performance and ensure statutory compliance.
You will also ensure compliance with Group H,S&E policies, provide leadership and support to staff and supply chain, and respond to accidents and incidents promptly, ensuring proper notifications and root cause analysis.
You will promote and encourage high standards and continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental management.

Essential and Desirable Criteria
* CSCS Card
* FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal (preferable)
* IOSH affiliated member
* Valid Driving licence
* Experience maintaining HS&E standards on construction and housing projects
* Experience with various construction methods and trades
