Responsible for all store communications through the Bootslive platform and related channels, you will lead the team to ensure all information on these channels remain up to date. Exceptional leadership will ensure colleagues and leaders are engaged and work collaboratively across the business. You will role model and bring to life the company vision and purpose, by championing ‘simpler for stores’ and ‘more value for Boots’ through leadership of the hub planning team, actively challenging complexity and bringing innovation in how things are delivered. Gathering detailed insights from across all formats of stores including format of communication, current trading environment, trends, and supply issues, you will provide key information to senior stakeholders, supporting the overall workload plan. Reporting to the Director of Core Operations, you will be accountable for planning and leading communications on all store activity whilst protecting capacity. A very visible and central role, responsible for liaising with key stakeholders including all business units and enabling functions to ensure workload is matched to stores capacity, helping to drive business performance. The role also has accountabilities for all stores Field Administration, and associated activities ensuring key stakeholders are supported with administrative tasks and their timely completion. Responsible and accountable for liaising with stakeholders and planning all store activity in a manner to ensure that workload does not exceed resourcing capacity in stores and is funded appropriately where required. Gathering detailed insights from across all formats of stores. This includes levels and format of communication, current trading environment, trends, and supply issues. Building insights into comprehensive reports that feed directly into our senior leadership team with the view of influencing short term and long-term strategic plans. Review KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Chairing of the monthly Hub board, to discuss the landing of key strategic initiatives and provide insights and learnings that shape future development. Manage communications which are pushed to stores and keep information up to date which is held within searchable content on Bootslive and all communications channels. Conduit for all Boots communications to all stores and field teams, which includes regular planned workload and unplanned reactive communications which are essential to meet critical business needs. Managing a team who analyse and react to immediate concerns from stores as an escalation point to resolve any significant issues and identify wider business learns. You will lead CSC Business Partner Insights Manage, ensuring customer insights captured through the CSC are addressed in partnership with the Head of Customer Support Centre (CSC). Responsible for the team’s individual annual Performance Development Plans (PDP) encouraging behaviours, leadership and driving performance through SMART objectives and ensuring overall performance. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activity planning and administration of MyHub & Field Administration team. What you’ll need to have Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to optimise performance today while defining and driving future strategy. A strong understanding of stores and operational activity. Excellent relationship building and networking skills, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business. Ability to work collaboratively across all functions within the business, while working at pace and demonstrating agility. Ability to produce detailed, relevant, and effective long-term plans. Experience of managing multiple stakeholder relationships. Effective communication skills providing clarity to stores at all times. It would be great if you also have Both stores and support office experience, with a detailed understanding of the overall operation. Established connections across the organisation, with the ability to both support and challenge.
