Responsibilities will include: As a Commercial Manager, you’ll act as a trusted commercial business partner, providing expert cost management, pre-contract support, and strategic commercial advice. Your work will ensure we maximise value from our construction contracts while maintaining compliance and resolving disputes effectively. Provide cost management services, including feasibility studies, cost planning, procurement support, and contract lifecycle cost appraisals. Offer pre-contract commercial support, working closely with project teams to set target costs and fixed prices. Manage commercial and cost activities within a structured framework, ensuring compliance with procurement best practices. Work with Project Managers, Consultants and Contractors to optimise contract performance. Ensure all financial and contractual information is accurately recorded and reported. About You You will be a self-starter with a strong ability to work independently and drive commercial excellence with experience in NEC-contracts, bespoke contracts and ideally have an understanding of PFI contracts (public/private-funded projects). Utilities experience and Chartership are beneficial but not essential.
