The successful Field Service Engineer will be a key member of the customer support team and will travel to customer sites to perform services. These services include calibration and repair of NSI-MI equipment. The Field Service Engineer must demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication, time management, planning, and organizational skills.
* Provide professional responses in a timely manner to all customers
* Support customer test/production facilities on regularly scheduled or as-required basis for calibrations other services
* Perform precision system alignment of multiple axes using laser tracker or other optical tools to accuracies in the order of 10 m
* Exhibit excellent diagnostic abilities to isolate issues and repair equipment
* Ability to analyze diverse requirements in RF/Microwave measurements with a good understanding of mechanical systems
* Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware and software
* Prepare and comprehensive Field Service Reports, Calibration Certificates, and other documentation in a timely manner
* Manage time and priorities so that tasks are completed on or ahead of schedule
