To deliver evidence-based psychological therapies within community and wellbeing service settings. Be a member of a multi-disciplinary team offering psychological thinking and consultation. Deliver clinical and therapy supervision to other psychological professionals. Participate in developing a trauma-informed community mental health care for service users (SUs) and carers accessing Adult Community & Wellbeing Services.
This includes:
1. Providing highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and delivering evidence-based psychological therapies.
2. Contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings by offering advice and consultation on SUs' psychological care to clinical colleagues and non-professional carers, and facilitating case formulation and discussion groups.
3. Contributing to service development by utilizing research skills for audit, service development, and research within the service area.
4. Providing a key role in the psychological aspects of service development in service areas of primary responsibility, working towards the delivery of clinical supervision to other psychological professionals.
