Develop and manage the Group’s risk management framework ensuring there are processes in place to capture and manage key risks across the Group. Lead risk meetings with the businesses, functions, LT and Board ensuring key risks are understood and evaluated and control improvement plans are put in place where required. Lead the Group’s internal audit activity to provide independent assurance that controls are well designed and operate effectively and mitigate key risks in accordance with the assurance map. Develop, implement and continuously improve the Group’s business continuity framework, supporting the business with plans to mitigate significant continuity risks. Lead the Group’s response to legal and regulatory issues and whistleblowing investigations, with the ability to gather, analyse, and evaluate facts and prepare and present concise reports. This is a full time, permanent role working Mon-Friday 40 hours a week, with flex to work remotely 2 days a week. What we’re looking for: Extensive experience in a risk management / internal audit and / or external audit role. A degree and a professional qualification e.g. qualified accountant, internal audit, risk management. Risk identification, assessment processes and techniques with a commercial mindset. Strong analytical skills, able to quickly identify and present key issues concisely. High quality and insightful reporting including recommending practical solutions to risk issues.
