We are looking to recruit a dynamic Cancer MDT Admin Team Leader.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all administrative and clerical staff both present and newly appointed within the Cancer Lead Team service. The role will act as the direct line management for all administrative and clerical staff within the Cancer Lead Teams facilitation of weekly team meetings and monthly 1:1 meetings. Ensure that the Cancer Lead admin team are supported in delivering their duties within agreed timescales and that they escalate speciality pathway issues appropriately which will support the post holder in driving, improving, and maintaining the Trusts cancer performance. The post holder will be responsible for the personal and professional development of all admin and clerical members of the Cancer Lead team.
Main duties of the job
To enable the Trust to deliver safe, accessible, high quality patient care for patients referred on a Suspicion of Cancer Pathway by managing the Cancer MDT Admin team to help support cancer performance, national and regional cancer planning priorities, NHSE Cancer Long Term Plan, Achieving World Class Cancer Outcomes, Best Practice Timed Pathways.

Qualifications
* Educated to Degree Level or equivalent international qualification
* Maths and English GCSE Level 4 or above or equivalent
* NHS Leadership and Management certificate/Diploma or presently undertaking
* Recent evidence of professional development
* EDCL
Experience
* Recent evidence of managing an NHS admin team
* Recent evidence of working within an NHS Cancer MDT admin team at band 4 or above
* Recent evidence of working with cancer wait time guidance version 12.0
* Recent working knowledge of submission and extraction of NHS cancer data
