Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fixed term contract in one of the 8 English cervical screening laboratories, delivering a clinical cervical cytology service to the East Midlands region.
We are seeking an experienced Consultant BMS to join our team for the remainder of the current contract, undertaking independent reporting of cervical screening samples, participating in MDTs and supporting in maintaining and developing our service.
Main duties of the job
* Work at consultant level in cervical cytopathology, independently reporting cervical screening samples.
* Participation in MDTs across the laboratory footprint, primarily by Teams.
* Supporting in maintaining and developing our IT systems.

* Educated to Master’s degree level or equivalent as Healthcare Scientist.
* Advanced Specialist Diploma Cervical Cytopathology.
Experience
* Senior clinical experience within speciality.
* Experience of reporting into MDTs.
* Experience of supporting with IT / LIMS systems.
