Job summary The post holder will be an experienced Specialist Audiologist. The purpose of this role is to work unsupervised within the Audiology department, supporting the senior staff and Head of Audiology Services. They will provide complex and non-routine audiological assessment and rehabilitation to a wide range of patients. They will hold a high degree of responsibility and autonomy working under own initiative to ensure that clinical and professional standards are maintained. The role involves supervision mentoring and training of junior staff and students. The post holder will work with the clinical leads to ensure that clinical and professional standards are maintained at all times and must maintain continuous personal professional development whilst working towards higher levels of professional competence.
