Children's Registered Manager - Brand New Home Location: Sutton Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Additional Bonuses We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established provider of high-quality children's residential care, operating multiple homes across London and Surrey. Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new children's home in Sutton. About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding organisation that values innovation, excellence, and child-centred care. As the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in setting up and developing the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering outstanding outcomes for young people aged 11-18. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the setup and registration of the home with Ofsted. Lead, develop, and inspire a dedicated team to provide high-quality care. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and best practices. Implement and maintain therapeutic care approaches tailored to individual needs. Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning effectively. Build positive relationships with external agencies, stakeholders, and the local community. Drive continuous improvement to achieve 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings. Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Minimum two years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding procedures, and relevant legislation. Proven ability to develop and lead a successful team. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
