Are you an experienced Housing Options Advisor looking for an impactful role where you can make an immediate difference? This contract provides a fantastic opportunity to support individuals and families facing housing challenges. In this hybrid position, you'll be on-site at least two days a week, working within a dedicated team to deliver front-line housing advice and sustainable solutions to help people secure stable accommodations.
Hybrid: at least 2 days on-site in Corby and Kettering.
The Role
1. Deliver thorough, compliant housing advice in alignment with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996.
2. Independently manage a diverse caseload, maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.
3. Work collaboratively with local support services, landlords, and legal representatives to support clients effectively.
4. Draft clear, legally sound statutory decision letters to document actions and decisions.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Demonstrated experience in housing advice, casework, and managing a high-demand caseload.
2. Strong working knowledge of Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and associated legislation.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on precision and clarity in documentation.
4. Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing multiple cases.
