Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Birmingham Reports to: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager Employment Type: Permanent Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Engineer to join our team and support the successful delivery of civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design and risk management, and possess excellent planning and communication skills. A can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. Key Responsibilities: Support project delivery in line with contract requirements, programme schedules, and design specifications. Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and contribute to design management coordination. Assist with programme management, risk assessment, and mitigation planning. Use planning software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent to support scheduling and reporting activities. Maintain document control and carry out administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. Ensure all project documentation is current, accurate, and stored appropriately. Work collaboratively with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, designers, and site teams. Communicate effectively with project teams, offering input to solve challenges and improve outcomes. Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with legal and project-specific requirements.
