Premier Work Support are recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator on behalf of an expanding logistics company. The role will be based on the London Gateway Logistics park.
We're looking for someone who has worked in a similar transport environment so you'll likely have some of the necessary skills to ensure that the transport administration and driver debrief can operate efficiently.
Transport Admin Duties include:
1. Ensure positive customer experience is delivered on each and every delivery
2. Collate customer collection information, input and produce data label for freight to be transferred to the central distribution hub.
3. Booking in of customer deliveries
4. Ensure drivers have correct paperwork for the day and jobs are allocated to them
5. Assist in the investigation of problems with failed deliveries
6. General administration duties in line with the transport legislation company policy and procedures.
7. Answering phone calls professionally and promptly
8. Respond to emails promptly
9. Have sound numeracy and literacy ability with special attention to detail.
10. Working to tight deadlines.
Hours will be 5:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday in 4 to be worked contracted for 5 days per week.
Due to location and hours of work, own transport would be advantageous.
