We are nowlooking for a Senior Compliance Manager to join the team - you'llplay a critical role in shaping and embedding compliance frameworks toensure adherence to UK regulatory requirements. Reporting to the ChiefRisk Officer, you'll be instrumental in guiding our teams tonavigate complex regulatory landscapes and deliver positive outcomesfor our customers
Your responsibilities:
* Oversee the development,maintenance, and implementation of policies and procedures related toregulated consumer credit products, in line with the CONC sourcebookand responsible lending principles.
* Lead the interpretationand application of FCA regulations, particularly around Consumer Duty,to ensure compliance across all operations
* Design and execute frameworks for embedding Consumer Dutyacross the organization, ensuring customer-centric practices areappliedConduct regular compliance monitoring and provide assurance tosenior stakeholders on regulatory adherence.
* Develop anddeliver compliance training to teams, ensuring understanding ofregulatory obligations and promoting a compliance-focused culture
Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks,providing strategic advice on regulatory impacts to product andservice development
* Prepare and present regulatorycompliance reports to senior leadership and external regulators asrequired
* Partner with cross-functional teams, includingProduct, Operations, and Legal, to align business goals withregulatory standards.
Requirements
* You have a strong background incompliance, with at least 8+ years of experience in consumer creditand financial services.
* You are well-versed in FCAregulations and their application to consumer credit products.
* You have proven expertise in delivering Consumer Dutyinitiatives.
* You possess excellent communication skills, withthe ability to influence and guide teams at all levels.
* Youare highly analytical and detail-oriented, capable of interpretingcomplex regulations and translating them into practical solutions.
* You are proactive, collaborative, and committed to driving acustomer-first approach in compliance practices.
* You areconfident in using compliance monitoring tools and frameworks.
