Main Duties of the Job
We are searching for a hardworking individual who is looking for an exciting new challenge and wants to be part of the new Inventory Management System rollout at ULTH. You will be responsible for management, development, and leadership of the IMS Business Change Manager and will support the Deputy Head of Supply Chain in setting the strategies for deploying inventory management systems in a variety of stock control areas, working closely with the Head of Supply Chain, Materials Management site managers, and fellow clinical, non-clinical, and operational procurement teams. The scope of operational work managed by this team is significant - encompassing the full rollout and maintenance of an inventory management system across ULTH. The department already maintains the highest standards of stock management across all areas of the hospital from Theatres to A&E and beyond but is looking to revolutionise current methodologies to transform the control and flow of consumables entering and leaving the hospitals. This newly created team will lead the support for internal stakeholders by managing the inventory system, the e-catalogue and enacting meaningful operational and strategic change by generating ideas for savings and service improvement for patients, whilst ensuring we meet the Trust values and standards.
