Are you a solution-focused Business Developer with proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector with a strong drive to deliver?
As a Business Developer, you will drive technical customer engagement through value/customer-oriented problem-solving support whilst also being instrumental in driving Hilti specifications by securing Hilti technical solutions on major global construction projects in the Oil and Gas industry.
To be successful as a Business Developer, you will need to think outside the box to offer value-adding engineered solutions, transform specifications, and provide solutions designed to fit. You will develop business by using your technical and industry knowledge and work with your customer to construct solutions that align with Hilti specifications and foster key relationships.
Part of the role in your area of business development will see you playing a key part in spearheading growth opportunities in new markets, cultivating and fostering our collective vision to expand into new territories in the green, carbon capture, and energy markets.
What does the role involve?
As a Business Developer, no two days will be exact but typically you will be involved with:
* Technical Guidance - You will be responsible for actively providing expertise and technical advice in the design stage of major construction projects globally. Providing technical support to our other Engineers and sales team.
* Relationship Building - You will proactively build relationships and loyalty with Engineers and Designers from the industry, delivering value and crafting technical solutions.
* Internal Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborating with international Hilti members supporting the Hilti technical solutions for key projects.
* Account Development - Proactively drive key Oil & Gas, EPC, and Owners to integrate Hilti's range of products and services. Providing and coordinating global design support to Engineers and Designers from a diverse range of disciplines and backgrounds.
* Market Expansion/Outreach - Work with the wider team, your network, and utilize your knowledge to understand and drive progression in new and emerging markets such as Carbon Capture and Green Energy solutions.
What you need is:
Essential:
* University degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proven knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, design processes, and relevant technical disciplines.
* Experience in account development and managing a territory with many accounts.
* Project management skills.
* Commercial awareness or previous experience in sales/business development.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to form and grow relationships.
