The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Employment & Compliance Specialist to join our HR Talent Services team. Reporting to the Global HR Projects & Compliance Director and working closely with the UK&I HR leadership, you will provide expertise on employment legislation and compliance, ensuring alignment on internal business practices and global HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct and maintain research relating to current and changing employment legislation.
* Create and manage tools and resources to support compliance related policies & practices and maintain HR related compliance templates, process maps and associated practices.
* Responsible for HR internal audit controls for UK & Ireland.
* Assess employment relations trends or patterns to inform better policy and practice or identify management training needs.
* Identify, develop, and maintain processes, resources, and tools for HR Client Services regarding employment compliance related policies and practices.
* Manage and deliver ongoing compliance training for the HR team in collaboration with regional HR Client Services leadership.
* Provide guidance and consult with HR Client Services on legislative requirements that impact employment and business practices and processes.
* Maintain knowledge of HR leading edge best practices and bring forward recommendations.
* Manage/provide expertise to business and employment projects and programs.
* Manage/provide key support on projects initiated from the HR strategic plan and the broader HR team.

About You
You are qualified with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. You bring proven experience in HR Advisory roles, employee relations, and compliance expertise. CIPD Member level is desired.
You will have in-depth knowledge of employment legislation in the UK and Ireland with strong experience in researching, reviewing facts, and providing recommendations. You will bring confidence and initiative. You are a natural collaborator with the ability to influence and establish yourself as the SME. You are proactive with a successful track record of identifying new opportunities for improvement and successfully executing them. You are an effective communicator who can influence and persuade at all levels.
This opportunity will be based in either our Warrington or Manchester office. A minimum of 3 days per week will be required in the Warrington office.
