Sales Administrator – Cardiff branch

Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00, Friday 08:00 – 16:00
Rhodium Consulting are looking for a dynamic and highly organised individual to support the smooth and efficient operations of my clients Cardiff branch. This role combines sales coordination and business administration, ensuring exceptional customer service and seamless business processes.
You will be responsible for handling customer orders and inquiries, managing stock procurement, coordinating deliveries, and collaborating with other departments to maintain efficient operations. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying and maximising sales opportunities in the Cardiff sales area, working closely with the Branch Manager and Regional Business Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Uphold and promote core values and principles in all aspects of your work.
* Efficiently process customer orders and inquiries, ensuring prompt and accurate completion.
* Manage stock procurement from internal and external suppliers in line with company policies.
* Coordinate stock transfers with other branches, optimising inventory levels.
* Provide accurate transport cost quotations and maximise cost recovery.
* Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery coordination, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
* Work closely with the Branch Manager and Regional Business Development Manager to develop sales strategies and grow business opportunities.
* Proactively upsell and cross-sell products and services to enhance sales.
* Assist in pricing quotations in collaboration with the sales team.
* Monitor stock levels and liaise with the Branch Manager to maintain optimal inventory.
* Work with the Credit Control department to manage customer accounts and trade counter transactions.
* Perform general administrative duties, including order dispatch, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
* Accurately process cash and credit card transactions, ensuring proper reporting.
* Gain proficiency in the company’s Axapta computer system relevant to your role.
* Participate in stock counts and annual inventory checks as required.
