Your Role
As a Driver working for Kuehne + Nagel (Government and Defence), you have an opportunity to deliver excellent service to our customers through hard work and dedication that is vital to providing industry-leading service levels. Your Responsibilities
* Complying with all relevant legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards.
* Maintaining and promoting a positive image of Kuehne + Nagel Government and Defence with safe and high driver standards and positive driver behaviours.
* Following all delivery, collection, and returns procedures; maintaining and managing company equipment; and being responsible for the security of the vehicle and load at all times.
* Reporting vehicle defects and ensuring that the defect is documented; complying with Driver’s regulations and Working Time Directive in line with the O License legislation and Company procedures.
* In addition to these duties, you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business, where appropriate training is provided.
* Ensuring all documentation is completed as per company procedure.
* Operating a FLT or other MHE as trained and when required.
* Following all housekeeping tasks as required.
* Working Monday to Friday with flexibility, as working overtime and nights out may be required.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Must hold a current class C+E licence.
* Preferred ADR Class 1-9 – Less 7.
* Preferable to hold a valid Forklift Counterbalance licence.
* Basic numeracy and conversational English language skills.
* Hold a valid driver qualification card.
* Preferred 2 years driving experience.
