We have an exciting new opportunity in the North East Community Mental Health Team and are looking for an Assistant Practitioner to join us. Working alongside the wider multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of high-quality person centred care and treatment within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
The post is based within Stracathro Brechin/Links Health Centre Montrose. You will be part of an Integrated Community Mental Health Service which forms part of the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership.
You will have a broad range of experience of working with people who have mental health needs and difficulties, and be committed to improving their health outcomes.
The successful candidate will receive a robust induction programme alongside ongoing clinical and managerial supervision. Your professional development will be supported through external and internal training opportunities.

You must be able to demonstrate relevant attainment level at HNC/SVQ3 (SCQF7) or be willing to undertake an additional qualification HNC/SVQ 3 (SCQF 7).
If you do not have the above qualifications the post will commence as a Band 3 until this is obtained.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week (part time will be considered)
You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland throughout your employment.
The ability to work as part of our extended weekend service is essential to this post, as is the ability to travel across the locality.
