Description Project Manager Location: Stockport Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday – 7.30-4.30 Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget? If so, we’d love to hear from you We are seeking a proactive and driven Project Manager to oversee the full project lifecycle – from pre-construction handover through to final account. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a variety of exciting projects, ensuring seamless coordination across internal teams, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing: Acting as the key point of contact for clients, you will manage projects end-to-end, delivering exceptional service while maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders. Take full responsibility for project performance, reporting KPIs to the Contract Manager and providing clear, concise updates and documentation. Ensure projects meet health & safety requirements, prepare RAMS documentation, and promote a positive safety culture on site. Lead design approvals and oversee project progress through production, installation, and completion phases. Collaborate closely with our commercial team on CVRs – monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and forecasting financial outcomes. Attend pre-start, progress, and ad-hoc site meetings, ensuring you stay ahead of project developments and challenges. Work alongside the commercial team to drive margin growth through design improvements, value engineering, and problem-solving during the installation phase. Requirements What We’re Looking For: A proven track record of successfully managing projects across a range of sectors. High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills and a creative, can-do attitude. Strong client-facing skills, with the confidence to engage with consultants, engineers, and other third parties. Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, able to adapt in fast-paced, ever-changing environments. A background or qualification in design, technical, or construction fields would be beneficial but is not essential. Commercially savvy, with a clear understanding of how to balance quality with cost control. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Effective implementation and management of project programmes. Achievement of project milestones using our Golden Rules method. Accurate project forecasting with clear visibility of any potential slippage. Proactive management and closure of NCRs. Maintaining excellent client communication – no “chase” calls or emails from clients Health & Safety – minimum of two audits per month. Site presence – minimum of four visits per project.
