This position could also suit a confident and ambitious ECT or alternatively, if you are a well-qualified History graduate looking to explore teaching as a profession, we would also be keen to hear from you.
You will be joining an enthusiastic department which is collaborative and forward thinking, continually looking at ways to make teaching and learning as effective as it can be. The History Department follows the IGCSE Edexcel specification at GCSE and the AQA specification at A-level.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and place the needs of the young people at the forefront of everything they do. The candidate will be comfortable working in a busy and supportive department where we look to get the best out of students and staff.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject.
* QTS (desirable, not essential).
* Ability to teach up to A-Level
* Proven track record of excellence in an education setting.
* Strong evidence of continuous professional development
