Ofsted Rating: Good (as of August 2024)
We are seeking a passionate, resilient, and experienced manager to lead our established children’s home in Bicester. The home currently supports one child with capacity for two, in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference in the life of a young person with complex needs. We are looking for a manager with a strong background in mental health and managing challenging behaviours, who can confidently navigate high pressure situations while maintaining a therapeutic, child-centred approach.
This role requires someone with vision, dedication, and emotional intelligence - someone who is ready to throw themselves into the role, see the long-term goals for the child, and lead a team with compassion and clarity.
Overview:
This home can provide care and accommodation for up to two children or young people both males and females aged between 10 - 18 years. It is for young people/children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs specifically mental health/behaviour that challenges others. They may find it difficult to live within larger groups and, therefore require a smaller home that supports their progress.
