We are looking to recruit social workers for our Nuneaton and Bedworth Family Help Team B. Based at Hilary Road Centre in Nuneaton - with easy access to the motorway, local town centre and amenities. We are a Family Help Team and work with a range of families including those in need of Family Help Assessment, Targeted Early Support, Children in Need, those who are on the Edge of Care or Child Protection and Court, and children in care until they have a plan of permanency outside of their parents care or with a plan of reunification home. Our Family Help Team is multi-agency with Family Support Worker, Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, PCSO's and soon NHS Nurse - all working together to meet the holistic needs to our families to reduce risk and keep families together. We work with families under the principles of Restorative Practice to identify plans which meet each individual family's needs and is used with every family, to help them identify positive change in order to develop a plan that works for them. The Role We have 1 Social Worker vacancy in our Assessment Group - short-term intervention - undertaking 10-day assessments and progressing children's care plans to closure, or to the first Child in Need Plan, Initial Child Protection Conference or All About Me Review for a Child in Care. We have 1 Social Worker vacancy in our Support and Intervention Group - longer term intervention to progress children's care plans. These posts are on a permanent basis - both full-time and part-time hours will be considered. Both posts are eligible for the Market Supplement payment – see details below: Newly Qualified Social Worker/ASYE/Grade J: Up to £43,438.00 per annum. Including a £3,500 market supplement, which is subject to tax and NI deductions - T&C's apply. (Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 is available - T&C's apply.) Experienced Social Worker - Grade K, L, N: Up to £50,231.00 per annum. Including a £3,500 market supplement which is subject to tax and NI deductions - T&C's apply.
