Job Description
Our client is a fast-growing food supplements firm. Highly profitable with approx 100 staff. An interim technical manager is urgently required to review manufacturing processes and procedures.
Key Tasks:
1. Define and oversee the implementation of quality standards across the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and global requirements (e.g. BRC, IFS, FDA).
2. Develop root cause analysis and corrective action plans to resolve any technical issues that occur during the production process.
3. Develop risk management strategies for product quality and safety, identifying potential risks related to product defects, supplier issues, or changes in regulations.
4. Lead the site technical function to ensure all products meet internal and external food safety and quality requirements.
Duration: 6 months, potentially extendable if required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
1. Experienced interim Technical/Operations Manager
2. Food sector experience
3. Qualified lead assessor/auditor highly desirable
4. Immediately available
5. UK based
