Senior Information Officer URGENTLY required based in County Hall, Ballymena. The job is a full time position temporary on-going until December 2024. The person will undertake a lead role in the provision of high quality information and data analysis to deliver on key surveillance functions and support maternity and neonatal service safety and improvement initiatives. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. The rate of pay is £18.10.
Duties include:
* Be the lead analyst for perinatal and maternal mortality information requirements or requests to support surveillance functions and produce timely reports as required.
* Liaise with Trusts and health care professionals, to ensure robust processes are in place for the timely and accurate collection of Trust perinatal and maternal mortality data to support surveillance functions.
* Working with a wide range of complex information systems, use data linkage skills and processes, to ensure effective data surveillance.
What we need from you:
* Possess a university degree or professional qualification in a health service or health-service related field and at least 2 year’s relevant experience or at least 5 years relevant experience
* 2 years practical experience in a working environment of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Outlook
