Job Description:

With locations worldwide, Van VLIET has its largest markets in the UK, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Portugal, and the USA.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced 2nd Line Engineer (minimum 3 years) within our large fresh flower cash & carry group, which operates internationally. The successful candidate will assist with the provision of professional IT services to 16 sites across the UK, both remotely and on-site, and will be responsible for a wide range of IT tasks to ensure the required standards are achieved.
This is a technically challenging role that would suit someone who enjoys working within a fast-paced and diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 2nd/3rd line support – Basic IT, Networking, Printer Setup & Helpdesk Support.
2. Act as the first point of contact for all 1st line IT issues.
3. Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles and SLA.
4. Troubleshoot and configure hardware and software.
5. Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Skills & Experience:
1. Must have worked in a customer-facing IT support role for 2+ years.
2. Familiarity with ticket systems, logging, and remote management and monitoring processes.
3. Experience in troubleshooting.
4. Able to work with network cables, switches, and patch panels.
5. Office Portal & Cloud Management experience.
6. Able to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, along with an analytical mindset.
8. Provide ad hoc reports as requested by the Directors.
9. Car driver (due to remote location).
