Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to work within a Specialist School to support students with special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, Global Learning Delay and SEMH.
Position: Specialist Teacher
Location: Enfield
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver individualised educational programs tailored to each student’s unique needs.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Implement strategies to support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
* Collaborate with other staff members and parents to provide comprehensive support.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of strategies and interventions for Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Global Learning Delay and SEMH.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to student well-being.
